An exclusive service requires modern technology. Standard web technology is not sufficient to view our graphics. Satisfactory viewing can only be guaranteed if the following are installed on your system:

Flash
Flash is a program used for graphics and animation on the Internet and was developed by the com-pany, Macromedia. This program enables striking animation to be produced, such as that used for the VEKA Showroom. To view Flash animation on your browser, you need to have Macromedia Flash Player (ca. 220 K). It is readily available on various operating systems and web browsers or can be downloaded free of charge from the Internet. The download generally initiates automatically as soon as a flash site is accessed.

ActiveX Controls
The software ActiveX or Active Extension is one of the technologies developed by the software com-pany Microsoft. ActiveX is predominantly used for web-based applications. The web browser, Internet Explorer from Microsoft supports standard ActiveX Control, whereas other browsers require a plug-in download.

What happens when you access the Showroom?
Unless Macromedia Flash Player is readily available on your system, it will automatically install itself. When you first click on the window system, the module for the VEKA 3D Designer will install on your computer. If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, installation requires ActiveX controls, if you are using Mozilla (Netscape, Firefox), installation requires a plug-in.

When you first click on the corner sample, another module is installed in the same way: The VEKA 3D corner. Once the components have been installed, the Showroom is available to you in its entirety – this is applicable for all future visits.

Is the installation unsafe?
The installation of tools provided by us is non-critical. As confirmation of this, ActiveX Control is certi-fied for Internet Explorer. This certificate is proof of its safety and is issued by an independent test cen-tre.

What else should be considered?

• Ensure that your browser settings allow you to download and run ActiveX Control
• Ensure that you have the authorisation on your system necessary for the installation of the components
• Make sure that the module is between 500KB and 1 MB in size. This one-off download may take some time to download depending on your bandwidth. Please be patient.
• With graphics errors, please bear in mind that a possible cause of such errors could relate to your system requirements
