Successful participation at Fensterbau Frontale 2024

After a six-year break due to the pandemic, the time had come again: our two system providers VEKA and GEALAN and our digitalization partner Digital Building Solutions (DBS) took part in FENSTERBAU FRONTALE in Nuremberg - and it was a complete success.

FENSTERBAU FRONTALE is an international meeting place for the window construction industry. The trade fair offers a unique platform for the exchange of new products, materials and processing techniques. FENSTERBAU FRONTALE took place in Nuremberg from March 19 to 22, 2024. A total of around 75,000 visitors from 112 countries were able to find out about innovations and trends in window, door and façade construction from 644 exhibitors. A comprehensive event program also offered many valuable impulses on current industry topics.

VEKA & Partner present themselves as a strong team

The presentation was modern and inviting and the booth was very well attended the whole time. VEKA's appearance at this year's FENSTERBAU FRONTALE made an impression on everyone involved. Under the motto VEKA & Partner: A strong team, the system provider presented a variety of new products and services that not only impressed its own customers, but also the numerous other trade visitors.

"Our focus was on practical, innovative and sustainable solutions. This is how we ensure long-term success together with our partners," said Andreas Hartleif, CEO of the VEKA Group. "We are therefore very pleased that our trade fair presentation once again met with such great interest and was rated so highly by visitors."

The overarching topic of sustainability could be felt by trade visitors at every corner of the 1,000 m² booth. They were able to find out how sustainable VEKA products are and how partners can use this to their advantage. VEKA's group-wide approach to CSR and sustainability was also presented in detail with all its objectives. As a pioneer in recycling, VEKA Umwelttechnik was of course also represented with its own presentation. In personal discussions, ways were shown to get even smaller quantities of old windows into the recycling cycle. This successful mix of product and overarching solutions was an important factor for many guests visiting the booth.

GEALAN presents tailor-made solutionsin an unusual trade fair format

The world's leading trade fair Fensterbau Frontale 2024 was all about an extraordinary booth concept at GEALAN: In five strikingly designed cubes, the GEALAN portfolio was structured precisely according to target group topics. The unusual format was very well received by the trade fair visitors.

GEALAN has developed enormously since its last appearance at Fensterbau in 2018: Since then, almost 100 million euros have been invested in state-of-the-art infrastructure and product developments across the Group. Numerous awards, including for the in-house toolmaking department, as a Leading Employer or most recently as one of the Top 100 Innovations Champions of German SMEs, as well as several BIM awards and a supplier Oscar have been recorded during this time. The remarkable development of the company was also evident at the innovative trade fair stand at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2024.

A total of five themed cubes were tailor-made to the demands and needs of window manufacturers, dealers, architects and planners and equipped with relevant products and systems, supporting digital tools and helpful services in suitably compiled GEALAN worlds. A separate sustainability cube also showed ways to work in a particularly environmentally friendly and resource-saving way.

The trade fair motto "Designed for you " expressed GEALAN's proximity to customers and partners: Providing innovative solutions for all parties involved in the window value chain – this claim is also a top priority for GEALAN outside of the trade fairs.

DBS impresses at trade fair debut in Nuremberg, Germany

This was DBS's first participation at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE. The company was not yet operational in 2018. Visitors to the booths of the two system providers VEKA and GEALAN therefore also were able to meet DBS employees.

At FENSTERBAU FRONTALE, DBS presented its innovative toolbox for faster, more stable and cost-efficient processes in window construction. This includes software solutions for customer acquisition (WinDo Imaging), digital window planning (WinDo Planning) and component ordering (WinDo Ordering) as well as installation and documentation (WinDo Flow). In addition, services in the area of master data and machine control (WinDo Experts) complement the DBS range. All solutions are tailored to the changing needs of the industry and are subject to continuous development. The modularity of the various tools within the digital toolbox was particularly impressive. Thanks to the integrative approach, the DBS solutions can be used flexibly and enable a digitalization process from project to project.

During in-depth discussions, exciting live demonstrations and short presentations, visitors were able to obtain detailed information and share experiences with colleagues on site. The positive feedback during the trade fair underlines the growing demand for innovative and technology-based solutions for window construction.
