VEKA Ibérica collaborates with Guardian Glass for greater energy efficiency and sustainability in window construction
Our subsidiary VEKA Ibérica in Spain has entered into a strategic partnership with Guardian Glass, a leading global glass manufacturer. The aim of this collaboration is to sustainably improve energy efficiency and environmental performance in window and facade construction on the Iberian Peninsula.
Working together for a sustainable future
We combine our expertise in PVC window systems with Guardian Glass's innovative technology in the field of high-performance laminated glass. In this way, we aim to support architects, planners and window manufacturers in making informed decisions - for buildings that combine comfort, energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.
Focus on CO₂ reduction and circular economy
The cooperation focuses on solutions that reduce the carbon footprint of buildings, both in terms of embedded carbon from manufacturing and construction processes as well as carbon from everyday energy consumption. In addition, we are planning joint training courses for professionals and renovation projects in which materials are responsibly recycled or replaced with more efficient alternatives.
