VEKA SAS cooperates with Saint-Gobain Glass

Working together for sustainable window solutions

The VEKA Group and Saint-Gobain Glass have joined forces to improve the environmental performance of windows in the long term. This collaboration combines the expertise of two leading companies in the industry and shows how innovation and cooperation can pave the way for a more environmentally friendly construction industry.

The partnership focuses on combining VEKA profiles with a high recycled content and innovative ORAE® double glazing from Saint-Gobain. VEKA uses up to 70 percent recycled PVC in its REcycle profiles, while ORAE® glass consists of 64 percent recycled material. This combination enables a reduction in CO₂ emissions of up to 34 percent compared to conventional solutions. The systems not only meet the strict requirements of the French environmental regulation RE 2020, but also offer a practical solution for sustainable construction without the need for complex special designs.

The cooperation underscores the joint commitment to circular economy and regional value creation. Both companies rely on closed recycling processes and local production to combine ecological responsibility with economic efficiency. For architects, planners, and builders, this means a forward-looking solution that combines sustainability and aesthetics.

With this partnership, VEKA and Saint-Gobain Glass are demonstrating that progress and responsibility go hand in hand—for a sustainable future in window construction.
