VEKA SAS opens new logistics center in France

With the commissioning of the new logistics center in Saint-Loup-de-Varennes, the VEKA Group has taken an important step in the further development of its French subsidiary. During the summer break, the successful transfer of inventory from the previous site in Thonon-les-Bains to the state-of-the-art facility in the Saône-et-Loire region was completed. This marks the official start of VEKA France’s new logistics strategy.

A modern logistics hub for maximum efficiency and customer proximity

The new logistics center offers 11,000 m² of covered storage space, 3,000 m² of outdoor storage, and an expansion reserve of 7,000 m². It has been specifically designed to meet the growing demands of the market while optimizing internal material flows.

Relocating logistics not only frees up space for additional production capacity at the Thonon site, but is also a key element of the long-term strategy: investing in the site to meet the increasing demands of the window market.

Thanks to its strategically advantageous location - just 3 km from the A6 motorway - VEKA France is now closer to its customers, improving response times and increasing flexibility for individual requirements.

• Installation of photovoltaic panels on the roofs starting in 2026
• LED lighting and charging stations for electric vehicles
• Transition to electric industrial trucks
• Landscaping with over 250 trees and shrubs
• Promoting biodiversity through nesting boxes and eco-grazing with sheep
