GEALAN is one of the TOP 100
Award for outstanding innovative strength
GEALAN Fenster-Systeme has received the TOP 100 seal 2024 in the competition of the same name, making it the newly crowned innovation champion. The seal is awarded to particularly innovative medium-sized companies across all industries. The well-known science and TV journalist Ranga Yogeshwar will personally congratulate GEALAN on this success at the award ceremony on June 28, 2024 in Weimar, Germany.
GEALAN is one of the most innovative medium-sized companies in the German-speaking world: This is confirmed by the award of the "TOP 100" seal, which the plastics system provider is now officially allowed to wear.
Ivica Maurović, spokesman for the GEALAN management board, is proud of his company's innovative strength: "This award shows in black and white how much effort we put into the scenes. Our brand claim "Innovation with system" not only adorns our logo, but is also really lived at GEALAN. For years, we have been breaking new ground in our company and constantly developing GEALAN. The award with the TOP 100 seal now also makes this visible to the outside world. I am very grateful for all the commitment with which our colleagues are positioning GEALAN in such a future-oriented way!"
Innovation researchers examine more than 100 criteria
On behalf of compamedia, the organizer of the TOP 100 competition, innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and his team examined the innovative strength of all participants on the basis of more than 100 criteria from five categories: innovation-promoting top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organization, external orientation/open innovation, and innovation success. "Are companies able to create new products, new services, new processes and new business models? And are these achievements just coincidences or the result of a structured and targeted approach? We examine these questions at TOP 100," says Nikolaus Franke, explaining his approach to the review. It is also important to know how and whether innovations and product improvements have been able to establish themselves on the market.
GEALAN is innovative in all areas
"Innovations and investments run through all areas at GEALAN," says Managing Director Ivica Maurović, describing the development of the plastics system provider in recent years and going into detail: "Our digital planning has been awarded several BIM awards, our in-house GEALAN tool shop was named one of Germany's best tool shops in the "Excellence in Production" competition, with our new fully automated GEALAN has set the next milestone for the logistics of the future. We research and develop the use of sustainable raw materials within our PVC formulations, constantly increase the recycled content in GEALAN window profiles, create modern premises and workplaces and invest in efficient software solutions. I can say with full conviction that GEALAN has been developing into a true innovative pioneer in all aspects of the company for years."
Award ceremony on 28 June at Weimar
GEALAN has now prevailed in a scientific selection process for the TOP 100 and is thus one of the newly crowned top innovators in the "More than 200 employees" class. In the 31st edition of the innovation competition, a total of 388 medium-sized companies applied for the award.
On 28 June, GEALAN will meet all the other top innovators of the 2024 vintage at the "congress centrum weimarhalle" when the award ceremony takes place as part of the German SME Summit. There, the well-known science and TV journalist Ranga Yogeshwar will personally congratulate GEALAN on his success at TOP 100.
