On November 6, 2025, Elke and Andreas Hartleif were honored in Munich with the prestigious “EY Entrepreneur Of The Year” award in the category Family Business. This recognition by EY celebrates our entrepreneurial spirit, our drive for innovation and our lasting commitment to sustainability in the construction industry.

The VEKA Group has been nominated as a finalist for the prestigious EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2025 business award in the category family business. The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurial achievements and is being presented for the 29^th time in Germany. It is one of the most prestigious business awards worldwide and is presented by Ernst & Young in around 58 countries.

VEKA congratulates VEKAPLAN on its 40th anniversary and on its strong participation at K 2025: The world's leading trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry was the perfect stage to showcase VEKAPLAN's expertise and versatility.

Our subsidiary VEKA Ibérica in Spain has entered into a strategic partnership with Guardian Glass, a leading global glass manufacturer. The aim of this collaboration is to sustainably improve energy efficiency and environmental performance in window and facade construction on the Iberian Peninsula.

Every two years, we provide comprehensive insight into our sustainability activities in our CSR booklet "Future-friendly". With the fourth edition, which looks back over the years 2023 and 2024, we are once again demonstrating that sustainability is not just a trend for us, but a strategic, structural, and cultural component of our actions.

With the commissioning of the new logistics center in Saint-Loup-de-Varennes, the VEKA Group has taken an important step in the further development of its French subsidiary. During the summer break, the successful transfer of inventory from the previous site in Thonon-les-Bains to the state-of-the-art facility in the Saône-et-Loire region was completed.

With the TEC Conference, our profile brand VEKA created an event many years ago that has long since established itself as an industry gathering for window manufacturers and companies in the window construction industry. The event offers a platform for innovations, technical trends, and personal exchange with the system provider.

GEALAN continues to optimise its PVC profiles in terms of sustainability and resource conservation: with the new BALANCE variants, bio-attributed PVC has recently been used in the profile shell. This material made from renewable biomass enables additional CO₂ savings.
